Atelier Sterna

Two years ago I came the first time to Istra - it was Mai and nature was so beautiful, like paradise - I felt in love with the land and decidet to start a new life. On the seaside I discovered the perfect matirial for natural stone-mosaic´s and started to produce objects that should give an impression of the simplicity and beauty of this landscape. The making of an mosaic has for me allways a meditativ and contemplativ quality - and the design or the picture is coming out of the present moment without much thinking.

I started to search a own place for working and living and with the help of my wonderful partner we finaly came to Laganisi - "lagan" means in Croatia "easy" and this is really the best expression for this place.

Since half a year we are busy with renovating the old stonehouse to create a peaceful place for sharing our idea of life and joy in art, dance and bodywork.
